It's That Time Again - 2011-2012 Dues Letter
The dues letters for the 2011-2012 Kiwanis Conference of Western PA dues are hitting the mail and will soon be arriving in a mailbox near you!
The membership dues for the Conference are our second largest annual fund raiser. (The largest fund raiser is the golf outing.) Keep in mind that the Western PA School for Blind Children is located in Pittsburgh but it serves half of Pennsylvania, thirty-three counties and 240 school districts. There are many Kiwanis Clubs in the School's service area that simply can't support the other fund raising efforts of the Conference. Membership in the Conference is easy - and at $200 per year, relatively painless. Check the students by school district list to see how many students from your local area are served by the School.
While we call these dues, they are actually a contribution to the Western PA School for Blind Children and should come from the club's service account. The Conference has a near zero administrative budget.
